1.2. Start with Mapotempo

1.2.1. Principles

Mapotempo is used in the following way use-mapotempo2

1.2.2. Log in

The Mapotempo web application is accessible directly online, in your usual web browser, at https://app.mapotempo.com.

If you have forgotten your password, click on the “Forgot your password?” link ”. See notes on ‘Password recovery’_.

If you do not yet have an account, you can click on the “Need to create an account?” link.

Our website https://www.mapotempo.com also allows to connect to web applications: Fig. 1.3

1.2.2.3. Password recovery

In the email field, provide the email address used to sign in. Click on the “Send me reset password instructions” button send_instructions_forgotten_password

Instructions on how to reset your password will be emailed to you. Fig. 1.5

Click on the password reset link contained in the “Change my password” email. Fig. 1.6

Enter the new password in the Password field. Confirm it in the Confirm password field. Click on the “Change my password” button save_new_password.

The Mapotempo Web application will open with a message telling you the new password has been saved successfully.

1.2.2.4. Roles in Mapotempo

In Mapotempo, and according to their role, users have different read, import, create, edit, delete and export permissions.

  • all permissions: the user can read, import, create, edit, delete and export all possible elements in Mapotempo.

  • Guest: the user can view the whole site and export the information found there.

  • Report only: the user can view what has happened during routes and export the Route Report.
